Abstract: There are several software packages for solving bifurcation problems of nonlinear dynamical systems, but they are built on Fortran or old version of MATLAB. They often require users to prepare in advance, and their interfaces are not modern. In this paper, we present the design of a bifurcation computation package using Python. Python provides numerical calculation libraries ported from Fortran and other languages, and the trade-off between speed and readability is well balanced. The proposed package includes interactive phase-portrait drawing software, the main calculation part of the bifurcation analysis, and tools for grapher that can be used in academic papers.
